Ensuring access to more affordable, nutritious food across Illinois

FSF CEO and Managing Director attended the "From Food to Flowers: Everything Local" Conference, hosted by the Illinois Farm Bureau, Illinois Specialty Growers Association (ISGA) and the Illinois Farmers Market Association (IFMA). This event brought together producers and agribusiness leaders in a joint effort to strengthen local food systems.

During the conference, Cousin emphasized the need for solutions that foster a diverse and inclusive food system. She highlighted the importance of supporting farm income, expanding local processing, and ultimately ensuring communities have access to nutritious food.
