Who we are
We’re transforming food systems to create a healthier, more sustainable future.
Food Systems for the Future (FSF) Institute is a U.S. 501 (c)(3) organization led by Ambassador Ertharin Cousin. Through deep sector expertise, a network of advisors, and institutional partnerships, we address malnutrition with an economically and environmentally sustainable lens.
At the FSF Institute we believe:
We work to achieve the goal of ensuring every family everywhere has affordable access to diverse nutritious food. FSF partners with diverse actors to deliver equitable resilient market-based solutions for the just and sustainable transformation of the food system.
Our work includes creating the macro policy ecosystem to drive the public-will for an environmentally sustainable hunger and malnutrition free world.
Food is health, food is culture, and food is love.
No single organization can solve hunger and malnutrition on its own.
We always seek to collaborate with innovative partners with a shared goal of building robust food systems to improve access to healthy, nutritious foods for human and planetary health.
Accessible Nutrition for All
At FSF, we are dedicated to achieving market-oriented solutions that yield economically beneficial, environmentally sustainable, and positive nutrition and food security impact across the whole food value chain. Our focus on a whole food systems approach, extends to performing the research, advocating for the policies, catalyzing the communications activities, implementing the programs, building the partnerships and helping deliver the financial assistance required to create and advance a more resilient and equitable market-based food system that provides access to affordable, nutritious food for all.
